I like Jim MacQueen`s stories on Can-Am racing in 1981 Autoweek magazines.
Unfortunately I have only a few 1981 copies. Did he write the reports on the
Mosport (June 14 and September 13), Watkins Glen (July 11), Edmonton (August 16),
Trois Rivières (September 6) and Riverside (October 4) races and other Can-Am-related
articles? Does anyone still have 1981 Autoweeks?

Edit: Pages of these old Autoweeks can't be scanned in one pass because of the 11 x 14 layout.

JB, is there a way to scan
the Mosport story in multiple passes?
I have the July 20 issue. Are there
Can-Am-related articles in the July 13
and July 27 Autoweeks?

The July 27th issue DOES have a McQueen article, "Inside the '81 Can-Am Cars".
I have the November 9th issue with the McQueen report on the Las Vegas finale.
I have the December 21st issue with McQueen's "Can-Am '81" season review.
I'm sure I can scan pages in two passes, it might take me a while. Send me a PM with your email address if you want me to make an attempt.
I MIGHT be able to come up with the Autoweek issues from August-October.

I assume the 11 x 14 layout refers to a single page. A3 is 16.5 x 11.25 or so (I can't remember the imperial equivalents exactly). Simply photocopy the 11 x 14 page onto A3. Then use the zoom to reduce the printed portion to exactly A4 ( 11.25 x 8.25) on the photocopier - you may be able to reduce the margins to get larger text. Then scan the A4 sheet. There will be some loss of legibility but it won't be that drastic.
