Quite - But there was only one 2.5 litre Martini car entered. Nowadays they are 'former' F1 drivers ;)

Yes i did mean former speaking as the quiz is set today/yesterday .

I cant remember many wins at national level for a Pacer Formula Ford, and the Final winner was the evergreen Rick Morris in the works Royale , a very useful driver who should have gone on to better things. Rick was always at the front end mainly in Royales .

Although Ian Bracey was nominated as one of the Ibec drivers, I think Viv Candy was actually drafted in but not sure if he ever got a drive.

2) Geoff Creber - Coltman Creber

I always thought that Geoff Creber was sponsored by his Dad's Pub (Even if it wasn't written on the side of the car). Was the Nomad he raced built by the late Phill Lloyd?

Coltman Creber straightened and repaired my F750 chassis. The braizing cracked!!

6] Mike Bulmer

I don't remember him being sponsored but he had a wholesale cut flower business, so he may have promoted that.

He got to work one day and found the whole place had burnt down :(

If you had asked me which Silverstone regular was sponsored by his own florist business, I'd have probably said Mike Bennion.
He had white / blonde hair didn't he?
Either way, if I'm right or wrong, at least the MB bit is right.

I know somebody will say Mike Bennion raced a Morris Minor and they would probably be right.
The more I think about it, I'm starting to believe it was Mike Bulmer the blonde FF pilot,
but I've got this far, so I'm going to hit the return key anyway.

4) Harris Foods (Bacon) - He worked for them.

This answer is along the right lines but not the entrant listed or maybe Harris Foods has another brand name ?? or is part of a group ? the car was a Royale RP26 if that helps.

My estimate of the F5000 drivers is 5 two of which are in Normans Photos .

Yes, I'm sure you are right. I'm wrong with my timing. That was probably later or earlier. I remember the Humbrol car now, thanks.

I have always liked the look of those Porsche 934's , they just look right. The sound and shear acceleration of a 935 K3 takes my breath away.

Looks like Andy Rouse in the Richard Cleare 934.
