I have a memory that the Lindsay family were going to (or did) build a GT sports car and that in the 90's Remus was advertised for sale to cover the costs. I am sure car did appear once (at a VSCC meeting?). Does the car exist or is my memory fading?

I can't remember whether Remus was advertised for sale at this time, but there was definitely a Lindsay sportscar project around 2001/2 - built to the ACO's LMP675 rules for Le Mans, though it never raced.
It was seen at the Goodwood Festival (apparently in 2001) though I don't know whether it was a runner

You could always try contacting Ludovic, who is a member and occasional poster.

Well it was the Festival rather than a VSCC meeting but why did it not race? And was Remus put uo for sale to cover the costs?

I think the sportscar was a Valentine Lindsay project
I also think the 'Remus' sale was initiated by other factors
