Fair enough, the question does say "How many World records", "not how many records"

Campbell broke the World Water Speed Record 7 times and the World Land Speed Record once making 8 world records

But, as I tried to say, he broke 4 different speed records - the water and land records for 1 km and 1 mile flying start. The car ones were FIA International Class records but I don't know the equivalent official name for the water records.

My justification for calling this car a BT30 is this quote from Bryan Miller in this thread in 'the other place':

BT29-23 FB Cosworth FVC , entered in Tasman by Fred Opert Racing for Evan Noyes as 1850cc.
At the 36th. Australian G.P. 21-11-1971 , Warwick Farm , now with Graeme Lawrence [ N.Z. ] but called a BT30 FVC 1800cc. Used by Lawrence around S.E. Asia , to David Sharp N.Z. at least before 1988 , still retained and for sale on internet.

Yes a Rover 3500 Chev then a VL Commodore Chev that was sold to James Rosenberg [These days a Thupercar owner]

Pity, I believe that the blue car that was once a white car is there, Im sure the son of the owner would love to have you alongside...full opposite lock & full throttle.... shades of Tahunanui beach races being revisited , was it really 40 odd years ago, makes me feel better to know that your still working as well, sometimes think I am the only one...
