hi guys,

I'm now about to get my tickets for the Canadian GP this year
but i'm really hesitating whether ordering Grandstand 1 or Grandstand 2

i wanna know if anyone here got a seat that was facing the garages of Ferrari last year (2010)
and if yes, what specific section was the seat? (for example Grandstand 1, section 6, etc...)

I had my seat facing Mercedes across the grids, and that was Grandstand 1, section 4. and i was able to have a very clear sight over the pits and the main straight
(extra info just in case you have difficulty choosing the tickets like i do :) )

thanks!

Hi,
2010 Mercedes GP were garages 3 and 4.
- Not much help but this year Ferrari will be garages 5 and 6 - so the seat numbers won't be the same even if somebody sat opposite Ferrari last year.

I went from NY last year, I cant answer your question but suggest you to go for GS12 or GS11, by far the best

i have sat in grandstands 15,24,21,12,33
a lot depends on where you are positioned. grandstand 21 was amazing ( i was sitting there when Kubica crashed) I was looking right at the apex and able to see hamilton and a few others slide the rear of their car as they hit the apex. Closest to the left side of the grandstand (when looking at the track) would be best for 21.

15 - you can see the cars coming and going, but are far from the track.

24 - sucked. the tickets i got for free and that made up for it, but i would not pay for seats here.

12 - amazing, but the screens blocked pit exit and the view of the start finish line, if you go too far left (while looking towards the track) you get pretty distant from the action.

33- is where my seats are this year and i spent a practice session last year. Sitting in the right area is key, i can see the cars coming around the bend from turn 5 and i have the lowest spot that can see above the fence
