Bohren's name and talent will be familiar to those who followed the IMSA series in the '70s and '80s. Though he was closely associated with Mazda throughout most of his career, he also found success in other marques, including this Dingman Bros.-entered Corvette, which he qualified on the front row at Laguna Seca in 1984:
