Yes the Long Rembered list is a hard one to read when you come to names they have some personal connection. Sometimes our chosen sport is a hard mistress.

No good place to insert it, but sad to hear Art Baumann passed away Wednesday. While not a traditionalist or major bike enthusiast, as a racer he was at his best on those fearsomely fast, banked circuits the AMA ran in the seventies, and was by all accounts from fellow racers hard as nails and gave no quarter. Mainly featured on the Kawasaki triple factory racers with one season on Suzukis. Another one gone...live it up while we can, lads... :well:

Very sad to read this.
