:rotfl: Hi..Yes ..Kangaroos and Wallabys taste a lot like Emu..But those Emu drumsticks take a lot of getting through..
I can only manage TWO..at a time..
I understand that a group..flock..gathering..herd..of wallaby are residing in the country side down Dorset or Devon ??
There was one in Cardiff..but the locals fed it alcohol ..and it died !!
Then there were some in Inchconnachan..Loch Lomnd..but they have been slaughtered..!!
You are not being nice to our natives !! Shame..

Don't talk too loud, Ron. Over here in the Shaky Isles we kill and skin their natives, too. Possums , that is. Damn fool thing to introduce anyway, just like the rabbits, stoats etc the original Poms introduced in the 1800's. We Scots and others wouldn't have done anything like that. We brought whisky instead.

:rotfl: What is the difference between a stoat and a weasel ????
One is weaseally recognisable...and the other is stoatally different !!!

:rotfl: HI...I understand that kangaroo..wallaby meat is quite rich and a bit gamey..but very little or no fat..so very healthy for you
In the nearby game reserve ..from time to time wallaby tails are found,,without the wallaby..so someone is helping themselves
to free meat,,
There is no shortage of kangaroo or wallaby as at the time that the young climb out of the pouch..another finds its way out of the womb (looks like a little grub ) and finds its way into the pouch..
Farmers are permitted to shoot 10 percent of roos on their property..which often is not enough..(nature lesson for the day )

 MORE News from Christchurch..Two more bad earthquakes today..One 6 and one 5.5 on the scale,,in fact about 6 shakes within
3 hours..About 20 injured taken to hospital,,but luckily , no deaths..
Total of houses to be demolished now ,,10,000...so there are many relocatable houses being built for those without accomodation.
More updates can be seen by connecting to .....CHRISTCHURCH PRESS STUFF.....
At a guess, quake aftershocks must be over 3,000 by now.!! and still climbing..
Due to todays shake ,the historic Lyttelton Time Ball Station has collapsed..
All air flights have been cancelled into Christchurch..As well as most flights into N.Z. cancelled ,due to ash clouds from the volcano..
Mother Nature Strikes Again.!!
(P.S. I.m lucky to live on the Gold Coast,,Queensland now )

 THANK you E1.Pix for your kind words..Yes, many Christchurch citizens have had enough now,
and making plans to move on,but most are staying put, and waiting for the city rebuild to begin in earnest..

News that a great old watering hole would have to come down was prior to the latest two quakes.
The old Clarendon Hotel was a great place to meet up for a drink or two prior to going out for an evening of fun in Christchurch.

You're Welcome, Ronmac....

I hope all is as well as it can be, and that your fine country regains its footing as soon and painlessly as possible.

Ronmac:

You Betcha, seven New Zealanders are racing at Oulton Park, GB on June 24/25, and Brands Hatch, GB on July 1-3.

Here's the info on the NZ Formula 500 Series website: http://www.f5000.co....t01returnid=124

And here's some video clips on their website: http://www.f5000.co....age=video-clips

If I loved anywhere Down Under, or were in GB for the next two weekends, I'd sell my car to go....

Okay, Okay, a model car, but I'd Be There!
