I have just received the sad news that Ben Rood, a key man at Cosworth from the very start, has passed away. He died on Tuesday 1st March after a short illness.

The is a nice piece on Ben Rood in Graham Robson's Cosworth book. (page 47 if you have it)
The news was especially sad for me as I had only recently made contact and spoken to him on the phone. He seemed a little deaf but otherwise fine.
