Hello, collecting anything concerning Dennis Lashmar I would like to ask the following.
In the Journal of the BMCRC of august 1954 there is a "In memoriam " written for Dennis as a sort of foreword of the journal.
In this there is a mention of Dennis taking part in a short film "in which he gave a hilarious portrayal of a rider journeying to Brands Hatch"
Has anyone a clou of the title of this film and where to search for it ?
All pictures and stories about Dennis Lashmar are always very welcome. Many thanks in advance
Dennis Lashmar

Hi Ton
I think you have all the pictures we have of Dennis with the Pike BSA, we have some of his winning ride in the Clubmans.
Around the '54 time the BBC made a programme called, I think, 'Speed Kid'. One of the riders used in that film was Mike O'Rourke, I wonder if Dennis also featured?

In the 1911 census, his father's occupation was Concert and Theatre Ticket Manager, so Denis (one "n") went into the family business.
