Hi,
I will be going myself but I have 2 spare tickets this year.
They are high up in turn 2 with a view of nearly half the track & the rest is covered by a big screen tv.
They were $85 each.
Interested?
Regards

The best places to sit are so different. The higher you are and closer you are to the end of the straight the better which I didnt think off.
I sat mid way up at T2 mid-exit and the view was alright, but I watched the Indy lights race on the second tier at the turn in point for T1 and it was amazing. Combined with pitlane viewing, that would be the best spot in my opinion.

Anyone got an idea how this ticketing 'application' works?
How soon will i know if i got any of my preferred choices?
It does take some time to trawl through applications for 300,000 tickets.
I usually apply a couple of days after the race, for simple updates & do not expect to hear from them until late this year or early next year.
You have to patient. They WILL let you know & don't expect you tickets to arrive until March or even April.
I think priority is given to regular & long term applicants, so it pays to renew your order each year if you intend going often.

My ticket allocation is through. Sat in Stand A, in the shade by pit exit/turn one. Deeeeelighted!
Mine too. High in Turn 2 as usual. looking forward to a race hopefully as good as last year's.
Enjoy.

I recommend the 'Little 500', held at Anderson Speedway (1/4 mile banked oval) on the night before also. (About 40 miles NE of Indy)
33 sprint cars going 500 laps....
