Hi People
About this Porsche 917K. I think that's Takeo Ikuzawa driving but ¿where, when and what team is he driving for? I'm a avid 917's photo collector so any other information will be welcomed.Posted Image :well:

There is a model of this car available which claims to be the Tetsu Ikuzawa car in the Fuji Masters 250km of 1971.

There's another image here:

According to this post from Bengt in the Minor sports car races in 1971 thread, Tetsu (not Takeo) Ikuzawa drove David Piper's 917 in two races at Mount Fuji in 1971, the Fuji Masters 250 km as in Hamish's link, and the GP Japan. However, according to Ikuzawa's results page on the Racing Sports Cars site, he drove a Porsche 910 in the Masters race. In the earlier thread Michael Oliver posted this link, which probably tells you all there is to know - provided you speak Japanese (or can make any sense out of the translator). :p

Ikuzawa did indeed drive a 910 in the Fuji Masters 250km in 1971, so the photo caption on the model page is incorrect.

But, as Tim Murrey says, he did drive David Piper's car at Fuji in a non-championship GP Japan event in October 1971, though.
