Have been in contact with various people in an effort to establish who definitely bought and ran a Porsche 906 (Carrera 6) in the UK in period. Also the bloodline of cars sold and raced here (who owned by/sold to who/bought from etc)...
Any help gratefully accepted!

I recall Tony Dean in a red Carrera 6 at the 1967 Oulton Park Gold Cup meeting

Mike de ' Udy's lime green 906 and Bill Bradley's white with light blue stripes Midland Racing Partnership car spring to mind. These two, plus Dean's car, were all entered for the '67 BOAC race at Brands.

I have a Crystal Palace programme from 1968 and in the GT race Jeremy Delmar-Morgan, Jeff Edmonds or Chris Ashmore, Martin Hone or John Morris, and Peter Mould were all entered in 906s, in addition to Mike de Udy. Bill Bradley certainly continued with his car in 1968 as I recall he won the RAC Gp4 title that year.
In 1969 John Spero and Richard Shardlow also raced 906s.
Off hand I don't know the lineage of these cars.
