Copyright??

Indeed.

Dhango, please don't post photos unless a) you took them yourself, or b) you have the permission of the copyright-holder, or lastly c) at the very least you can credit the source.

If you can't do any of the above then only use a link to the photo you want to post.

Thank you.

Thanks for those wise words, Twinny.
For what it's worth, the photo was taken at Misano 1973

Ok, Ok, don't shoot me, I'm new at this, be patient with a rookie. I've seen thousands of photos coming and going with no fuss. Most of the copyrighted ones has watermarks on them, and a lot more are published everyday in the web with no copyright at all. I have like 8000 of them in my own PC. Ok, I was bad but I'm gonna try to improve myself. I've found the Wilsinho's image in a website call Autodiva, is in french. If I find the copyright name I'll post it.

The picture of Wilsinho's BT40 was posted by a guy named Gerard Gamand in a website called www.autodiva.fr, forum section, subject Brabham: Historie de la marque, page 4. No copyright named, no source, nothing. If there is something else, I don't see it. Please, guide me people, ¿what's missing? ¿Am I looking at something that it isn't there?

Hi, Brabham Afficionados:

I well recall the BT-40 here in the States, beautiful cars indeed!

Curious, though.... I don't recall seeing a "wide-nose" version like this, though the BT-38 used something wide as a predecessor.

Was that an option, a development, a local one-off, or an aftermarket accessory?

Thanks.

It would be a good idea to follow Twinny's guidelines, but don't get too upset at the 'reprimand'. Enjoy your time on TNF.

Copywrite warnings on this forum seem to be very inconsitant, even subjective. There are active threads containg MANY copywrite images - and nothing is said, maybe because of the 'stature' of the posters?
