Hi guys, wonder if one of you who has the Sil Sports 'Grand Prix Guide 1974' booklet would be so kind to scan the pic on page 263 showing Werner Pfirter on a MZ at Hockenheim in '73 ? Don't have access to a scan at the moment  but a discussion going on if Werner ever rode a MZ. If you mind the copyright issue, would you please send it per PM ? Thanks for any help gents !

Yep it's a fine one, with Helmut Kassner, who competed a couple of times in the island, in the background. Watched him parading his early type RG Suzuki 2 years ago

Bit mystified by that one Glenn...

I do remember that Rod had Swiss connections as his Factory Yamahas were supplied via Hostettler, the Swiss importer.

Just another of my lame attempts at humour, Michael  , replace the cross on Muhlenbach's helmet with a white shamrock and it closely resembles Gould's full-face of the early 70s... merely an observation. BTW Mick, any interest in the ICRT proposal ? Certainly got my attention...

 Ahhh, gotcha Glenn! :D

Re the ICRT business, let's hope it get's off the ground in some form and it's not just a feasibility study which goes nowhere. Perhaps in could be incorporated with or run alongside the ICGP series? Certainly food for thought and got to be an improvement on the current debacle. What many people are forgetting is that stinkwheel technology has moved on apace since the RG/TZ days especially in the likes of snowmobile engines etc. but sadly not for the 2-wheeled fraternity due to the dogma of certain manufacturers.

I hope it does go somewhere, and newbies can understand what all the fuss was about... :smoking:
