[Darren Galpin]

While going through race results from 1949, I've come across a couple of discrepancies I can't answer at the moment. According to http://www.racing-re.../race/1949-02/W, Fonty Flock raced with number 47, but according to the Daytona Beach Morning Journal, 11th July 1949, pg 6, he raced with 57. Any ideas which is correct?

Also, any idea of the car and car number for Howard Elder?

According to http://statsheet.com...s/1949-07-10-02 it was #47...but the info on these sites seems to be the same -- Howard Elder car and number is missing on both
