So, that was the first race of the season and also the first round of the BotT competition. The first round of a new season in always a bit tricky but it seems surprisingly little has changed since last year. first, let's have a look at how our guesses were distributed.
Not much has changed here since last year, the old favorites are still popular and, at least for now, the rookies are considered underdogs.
So how well did they live up to the expectations then?
Let's have a look.
Most of the favorites held up pretty well. The biggest surprise by far has to be Petrov, who totally Kubica'd (thats the Polish word for 'obliterated') Heidfeld. Another surprise was Perez' race performance, only one player got that one right. The rest of the unexpected results weren't really surprises per se, but rather the result of bad luck or mistakes.
Anyway, here are the results of this round:
Grayson wins a tight battle against Mekola, mark f1 and Makarias in what was a pretty low-scoring round. Well done!
In fact, last year, only one round had a lower average.
