Yes, it's Angelo de Angelis, but I'm not aware of any relation with the late Elio. It could be, but De Angelis is quite a common surname in Italy.
Not a Guilia SS Teapot, special bodied?? Alfa specialist needed. Any other TVRs there? Haven't seen my MK 1 since it went to Italy 2 years ago.
I've found it listed as a Giulietta SS. Actually, the front end looks somewhat different from your ordinary SS...
Sadly, no other TVR at the track!

Alfa Romeo Giulia SS - ??? [/quote]
Giulietta SS -Sprint Speziale The standard car carried a lot of chrome ware at the front, triple piece bumpers and grill aperture which change the frontal appearance significantly. The prominent fluting? over the leading edge of the front wheelarch is the styling giveaway.

I still don't think it looks quite correctly proportioned for a Guilia SS. I had one as a road car 1967/70 (bought from Brian Classic) until it literally rusted away. I was a regular at my local body shop (Geoff Bailey's in Timperley), we kept cutting out the rot which bubbled through all over, wings, doors, roof, boot. When the outriggers began to disintegrate I part exed it against a new Hillman Hunter estate to haul the kids around.

Maybe this picture taken from a slightly different angle might help...
My guess at it is that it could be a Giulietta SS that underwent a front end rework after an accident at some stage in its life...

Great stuff, and to think we used to dismiss the Brambilla brothers as 'rock-apes', clearly a whole lot more where they came from.
