On a previous thread i asked for driver information on programs i had that i was collating from 1960 through to 1979/80.

I am in the process of slowly putting some of this on a feeble attempt at a small website ;-
http://historicraceinfo.webs.com/

The main aim of this is to collate entries in the UK , most International Formula info is found elsewhere on the web , so mine will also have the what i call club events as well as FJ,F2,F3,F5000 and some non champioship F1 races.

I am adding bits daily .

Here are a few that i need help with first names of drivers

1963
L.C.Fryer/Lotus Elan
D.G.Marriott/Elite
H.Jones/Elan
E.Strachan/ Elite
P.Morris/Jaguar XK150
H.E.Sargent/Jaguar E
D.Howard/Jaguar E FHC

Just noticed the mis-spelling of Continuation in the title

D.G.Marriott would i believe be Don Marriott who went on to race a Lotus 11GT and then Elan. I might well be able to provide more names in due course.

Amasco also sponsored what were then called Marque Sports Cars in 1967 - the championship was exclusive to Brands.

Guards sponsored a championship for Sports Racing Cars right up to and including 1967 season at club level.

If you require more info about club championships and sponsors and winners I may be able to help - let me know, I don't want to swamp you with detail you don't need.
