What make/type of helmet is Jackie O. wearing in the photo above ?
I , at first, thought it might be the OMP Ghibli ( which is non- SNELL, only BS approved) - but it is different in details.

Any idea, anyone ?
I am looking for a period style, FIA or SNELL open face, all the current Bell etc. do look rather modern in comparison.

Pondering it today, I was suckered into thinking the B42 was an original ex-Daly car because I couldn't believe that anyone would go to such lengths to re-create such a detailed & iconic livery on a car that never wore such colours in period.
(It might explain why the owner of the Chevron has not responded so far to my detailed and illustrated e-mail to him....... )

In fairness to owner Hugh Price, he has now explained to me how this car.....

Thank you Tony, I was pleased it all went so well after 18 months hard work. The car was not actually an ICI chassis no but was acquired with an original set of Derek Daly/ICI bodywork which I was originally going to use. However my painter said it was better to keep that for prosperity and copy and paint the other bodywork we had. I enjoyed your pictures.

My first thought was that this was a typo for 'posterity'.

But on second thoughts ...

Wonder where the original Daly/ICI bodywork came from? Gary Gibson I think ran one of the ex-ICI cars the following year 1979 in Irish Atlantic, still in Daly colours, I guess it was this one.
