Jean Kerguen must have had a lot of influence with the Porsche factory to get a 911 in 1958...

Remember that in French the name of the country is Maroc. It may well be the same in German!

Marocco perhaps? However, the locals call it Al-Magrib, if they have any say in it. It seems that only nations created since about 1960 are known by the name of their own choice by the Europeans - Bangla Desh, Burkina Faso, Vanuatu, etc.

English speakers might find the slightly quirky translation irksome - and the bright red background as well, but nevertheless it's an interesting site with interesting photos.

Thank you Kayemod!!

I thought the site is interesting and it was not my intention to wake up some 'retired teachers'...

When we 'Germans' would mention every misspelling of the (I agree) difficult Umlaut (ä,ö,ü),
then this wonderful forum would burst...

I will still post, despite the limits of my language!!

Danke Michael
