Great stuff! The fifth pic in your original post (car No. 62) is of Gerry Birrell in the F3 Sports Motors Brabham BT28 at Brands in 1970. British GP support race?

Many from that Brands support race, I was running Russell Wood's Merlyn FF out of the P&M Chiswick arches. I have more of the shop and of Brands.
Also shown was a shot of the works F2 BMW car from the pits in Imola.

Wasn't Brands wonderful back then, access to the cars, dodging the marshals to get through the tunnel as the cars went through.....

Great pictures eurocardoc. But I don't think the last one is of Chris Lambert's car if you are referring to the BT23 in which he crashed fatally at Zandvoort. The car in your picture looks like it has been upside down but still seems fixable. The following picture of the wreck of the BT23 at Zandvoort seems to show it was pretty much destroyed:

WARNING! THE FOLLOWING PICTURE SHOWS THE AFTERMATH OF A FATAL ACCIDENT.

I was a very naive 16/17 year old then, on a steep learning (drinking) curve into race cars. I remember some details, others not so well. Always thought highly of the guys at P&M, Paul Vincent especially. He can be sen leaning on the side of Jim Edwards BT28 in a shot above. Also in that shot (without shirt) is 'Fibreglass Tim' I believe. I recall the wrecked car being someone close to paul.

Yes indeed. Although, it always helped if you were carrying a broom or something! Race of Champions 1971, if I'm not mistaken. George Eaton in the BRM P153 and JYS in the Tyrrell 001. I was marshalling at Clearways that weekend. Great memories. Not least, the Lotus 56B making its debut and Jody Scheckter making his British debut too. Whatever happened to him?

Happy days.
