Silverstone shots are from 1982, 6 hour . Not sure about the Brands date.

The Brands photos are from the 1982 1,000 km. No 14 is Sauber C6, DFL powered, according to my somewhat water damaged but long since dried out programme.

Yes, wasn't that the year the race was stopped because of very heavy rain and then restarted? And if my memory serves me well the race came to a thrilling climax with Jackie Ickx winning by a few seconds and in the process winning the drivers championship.

Yep, '82 Brands - the greatest race I've seen in 50 years of watching sportscar racing :clap:
