The back of the field of the December 6 1959 Nassau Trophy race

With a number of last-minute additions since their engine sizes are out of sequence: #63 AC/Bristol [Bob Keyes], #69 Austin-Healey 3000 [Art Habersin], #100 Arciero Ferrari/Maserati [Skip Hudson], #22 Alfa Romeo [Carl Dorr] and probably #141 [John Collins, also appearing as John Collier].

The last five starters all featured in the "official" finish reports. The mystery is in the next two cars, a DB Coupe and the #43 Alfa Romeo of Ross Durant. None of the two cars appear in the reports as a participant, either as a finisher or a DNF. It looks as though the driver of the DB is a woman, wearing high leather boots. Who the heck might she have been?
