Discovered this Sao Paulo newspaper site the other day. At present their archives, which go back to the 1920s, are free to access, but it looks as though it will soon go behind a paywall. Obviously all in Portuguese, but the size of some of the reports has to be seen to be believed!

And for those who haven't already found it, here's a link to the wonderful Luik Racing site which covers Brazilian racing in the 1930s and 1940s.

What a fascinating archive Richard. Dipping into some of them it was surprising to see a 1911 24ltr FIAT S74 winning what appears to be a flying kilometre test in 1933 between 3 km posts at 209km/hr with a Voisin 3rd to a Bugatti, both at 144km/hr. There was still some good life in the old thing. The photos are also interesting. I could not get into the 1920s link, must be me.
Well done.
With the easing of restrictions under Raoul Castro there may be a chance of some old Cuban archives emerging too. We can only hope.
