I've noticed it's been offline recently.

I think Gerald Swan posts on here, so hopefully he can update us.

It looks as though the domain was due for renewal on 24th Feb, but the renewal did not take place. The details from the Manufacturers section which are relevant to 1600 and 2 Litre F3 can be found on http://www.classicf3.org.uk

The F3history site was superb. It would be a shame to lose it for the sake of a few quid for re-registration and hosting.

Its race reports from the 70's were wonderful, I was always hoping the might expand into the 60's

To be honest I just didn't have any time to work on it so it seemed a bit silly paying the renewal fee to keep the site up. However fear not :), the 1600/2-litre details are now available on the Classic F3 site, click on Manufacturers or Archive in the top menu. I'll add the available race reports when I can find a minute.

As for the 1-litre stuff, I've been talking with Keith Messer at the 1-litre site and I've offered them all the relevant research and it will all be appearing there soon.

Good to know the site was so appreciated .

Not quite sure why , Allen Brown at OldRacingCars suggested that it would be a good idea to keep the domain name to stop cyber squatting which seemed eminently sensible so I've bought the name for two years. It may be that because there is a 90 day period after a domain is not renewed before it becomes available again means the site will still be there until the 90 days are up. Either that or I'm getting the cheapest domain space available anywhere :).
