I have been thinking about Roland today...I was watching the 2,000 Guineas and it took me back to the same race on the same Saturday 17 years ago. I remember being so happy when my favourite horse Mister Baileys won and then turning over to BBC1 to find out how second qualifying had gone. It was then I heard the news about Roland. I couldn't believe it...I never thought there would ever be another fatality in F1. Of course Roland's death has been overshadowed by Ayrton's death the following day but I will never forget either of them.

I have nothing but respect for anyone who honors our drivers passed. Well done.
