Official opening of the new Silverstone Wing today. Also there were Sir Stirling, Dave Coulthard Jenson Button, a few motor cyclists, Sir Frank, Christian Horner, Mark Webber and dozens of other luminaries, celebrities, a Royal, a whole host of BRDC members, The Massed Alberts ...Oh! And yours truly.

Ah yes, of course. I heard Damon Hill talking about it on the radio this morning. He was doing a great job, until he spoke about Silverstone having organised 'the first Grand Prix in 1950'.
