A friend of mine dropped by the shop yesterday with his VFR and I thought you guys might enjoy a photo. I remember back in the mid 80's this was one of the bikes I lusted after. He took my Duc with him and I got to play around on his bike before trading back at the end of the day. He's the original owner and the bike has 33K miles on it. It's immaculate both mechanically and visually. After riding though, I'm surprised how slow it is and how weak the brakes are. His reaction was just the opposite... in the mile from my shop to his he managed to inadvertently pop a wheelie in front of a cop and pick up a ticket for 60 mph in a 35 zone.
