These are a few of the cars being transported to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, thanks to the kindness of Lord March and the astute suggestions of DCN...
One of them is the Protos F2, a car not seen for a very long time. The spare tub is also traveling with the car "that broke John Harris", according to history. I think that it looks so cool, it will be great to see it there! I know that it was not the greatest of the great, but I simply always loved that car... :)

I do not know who is the lucky owner, but hey, I'd trade some toys for this one!

Also in the same boat (God forbid that it would be torpedoed by a renegade Japanese of German submarine crewed by 95-year old guys ignorant of the end of that conflict bit! ) are going to be these occupants:

The first Indy Eagle ever built, with which Dan unfortunately got in the starting mess at the 1966 Indy 500... now the property of the Riverside Auto Museum in California, a GREAT place to visit...

Lindley and Ann Bothwell's 1913 Peugeot, with which Dario Resta won the 1916 "500", next to Sir Jack's little 1961 Coop...

Thank you so much for sharing these pics. The "Wow factor" of Goodwood never diminishes.

I remember the Protos turning up at the Beaulieu (either the Autojumble or one of the museum action days) in about 1985 where its then owner - and restorer - was exhibiting it in one of the marquees. The car's unique aerodynamics gained it considerable media coverage in period.
