Excellent film. But that clip with Bob Mac and the lamp post. Oh dear. Safety Safety Safety, not in those days.Just watched the history of the North West 200 on BBC I-Player. It's only available until 11:00 pm on Monday. Some great old footage and present-day interviews with past riders .

I don't suppose one of you could burn this to a DVD for me could you?
I was in Portrush for the calamities last week and missed it, but would very much like to see it.
Alternatively, a link to a site where I can see it still?
PM me if needed.
Thanks
Bob

BBC NI is showing highlights of the Thursday races on Friday then live stream of the Saturday races
http://www.northwest...c-schedule.aspx
Usually get to a link via the BBC NI website. Hopefully this year will not feature the poor weather and oil chucking that destroyed last years meeting. Sadly I'll miss it as will be at Wembley hopefully watching West Hams return to the premiership ( though have mixed feelings about being a smallish fish in a rich, over media-hyped, secured on debt fish's pond !!)

Call me an old fart (You old fart ) but no BBC NI red button, no 250 race all 'Superthis', 'Superthat'. Rain forecast, I think I'll hybernate and wait for winter
Watching 'West Ham' now there's a glutton for punishment. If they go up their first match will be a 6 point relegation clash
'I'm forever burstin' bubbles'
