First there are two thing I need to comment on. In the registration thread, Makarias pointed out that the Buemi-Alguersuari battle should be 7-1, not 8-0 which is absolutely correct. It turns out that I had used the qualifying results from Malaysia instead of the ones from China when calculating the driver values. This means that in this and the previous round some of the values were different from what I had intended. Obviously I'm not going to change them retroactively, since the guesses were based on the ones posted and the method for calculating them is somewhat arbitrary anyway. I have now corrected my mistake so if some values change in an unusual way from this round to the next, this is the reason.
Secondly, they just mentioned on the Finnish broadcast that Hamilton, Button, Webber and Alguersuari are under investigation for overtaking under yellow flags. I'd just like to remind you that whatever comes out of these investigations will have no effect on this competition, as per the rules.
With that out of the way, let's move on to the stats:
Again, no major changes, the underdogs with good value keep their support with one exception, Massa lost all his support.
Now let's see if the results matched our expectations.
Some good value to be had from Webber, Schumi, Maldonado (twice!), Trulli and Karthikeyan.
The effect of the higher driver values are clearly visible results this time, as all of the top scorers have used several of the above mentioned drivers.
The winner of this round is Costaz followed by Brawn BGP 001 and Makarias!
The average score dropped slightly, which is a bit surprising, given the high average value of the winning drivers, up from 3.83 to 4.58.
