I hope you'll check out the photos I took over the last year documenting the restoration of the 1967 Vollstedt Indy race car by Michael McKinney of Kennewick, WA. He recently returned from the speedway after participating in the Vintage Exhibition. The car is apparently the last one driven in the United States by Jimmy Clark, at the Rex Mays Riverside 300 in 1967, just before his tragic death. The car, which was heavily damaged in 1972, hadn't been on a race track in nearly 40 years. This is a great example of restoring a historic race car.

Well done! Made me feel as though I went through the process myself!

Having gone through a few of these, I can appreciate the excellent and dedicated work that could only have been done for the love of it. My hat off to a beautiful job.
