Back for more...

Veritas Meteor at Silverstone, Becketts, early 2000s
pass about 1984 though?
Delahaye 135, at a Coys Silverstone coming out of Copse, early 90s
Birdcage Maserati, Silverstone, late 90s
pass looks like Silverstone and mid to late 80s judging by the girls fashion!
Ferrari 375, Silverstone again, early 90s
BRM P48, Silverstone, Woodcote early 90s

can''t think of any of the 'who's'.

Matt,
There is one advantage to being young - you don't make as many mistakes as old codgers. You were right it ia a Veritas not a BMW.

Bauble, are you sure the Tambay photo from Brands is as you think? Looks like Johansson, Brands 1986 to me.

I also agree Brands 86, but car 27 was Alboreto, and it looks like his helmet.

Of course! Knew that I knew the helmet; for some reason, the fingers typed "Johansson" rather than "Alboreto".

To be honest chaps I am not even sure of my own name, which is why I have to call my self bauble.

No it is not Tambay, totally wrong helmet, I was looking at the incorrect programme. Sorry guys.

1984 Ferrari. Aboreto & Arnoux

1983 Ferrari. Tambay & Arnoux

1986 Ferrari. Alboreto & Johansson.

But look fellows, if you intend to question everything I say I shall have to consider my position on this forum, it is hardly indusive to a good feeling about one' self, to be constantly corrected.

'I Shall Return'

Since nobody else has had a go, I will attempt to answer the previous post in full.

1) Rene Arnoux, Ferrari, Stirlings Bend, Brands Hatch, 1984.
2) Michele Alboreto, Ferrari, Borrom of Paddock Hill Bend/Hailwood Hill, Brands Hatch, 1984
3) Rene Arnoux, Ligier, Graham Hill Bend, Brands Hatch, 1986.
4) Rene Arnoux, Ferrari leading Jacques Laffite, Williams, Stirlings Bend, Brands Hatch, 1984.
5) The first three are Rene Arnoux and Patrick Tambay's Ferrari's and Alain Prost (Renault), Copse Corner, Silverstone, 1983.
6)Jean-Pierre Jarier, Ligier, Silverstone, 1983.
7) Mauro Baldi, Arrows, Druids Hill Bend, Brands Hatch, 1982.
8) Nigel Mansell (Lotus), Bruno Giacomelli (Toleman), behind Giacomelli is an unidentified Arrows, Roberto Guerrero (Theodore), Danny Sullivan (Tyrrell), Raul Boesel (Ligier). Copse Corner, Silverstone, 1983.

One of my favourite era's, so further pictures are most welcome.

I have tried twice to post more pictures for you altitude, but after all of the rigmarole of posting pictures I got an error message and lost all my work.

I'll try again with just one set to check if it works OK this time.

Well done on your answers I'll have to remember them.

Cheers,
bauble

Here goes.

1) Gianni Morbidelli, Minardi-Ferrari, Silverstone, 1991. (Becketts ?).
2) Christian Danner, Zakspeed, Druids Hill Bend, Brands Hatch, 1985. (I would guess Saturday 5th October, looking at the weather).
3) Gerhard Berger, McLaren, Copse Corner, Silverstone, 1990. (Testing ?).
4) Gerhard Berger, McLaren, Silverstone, 1991. (Testing ? in the vicinity of Priory Corner. He could just be using the National Straight).
5) Alain Prost, Ferrari, Silverstone, 1991 (Becketts ?).
6) Nigel Mansell, Ferrari, Copse Corner, Silverstone, 1990. (Testing ?).
7) Huub Rothengatter, Osella, Druids Hill Bend, Brands Hatch, 1985. (Must be during practice/qualifying).
8) Our old friend Rene Arnoux again, Ferrari, Paddock Hill Bend, Brands Hatch, 1984.

Alain Prost, Ferrari, Priory Corner, Silverstone, 1991
Jean Alesi, Ferrari, Priory Corner. Silverstone, 1991
Michele Alboreto, Footwork, Becketts Complex, Silverstone, 1991
Gerhard Berger's grid girl, Silverstone 1989.
Satoru Nakajima, Lotus, between Luffield and Woodcote, Silverstone 1987. (Taken during testing?. At the GP, Camel was relaced by 'Lotus', and also he is using Senna's car, or at the very least he is displaying Senna's race number).
