Inland parts of Australia...

Coastal areas used to be well known for their destructive properties.

Almost anywhere, when you buy an old car, the rust is FREE!

As Ray pointed out, inland is the best place. Most of my stuff came from old wreckers and farms inland. Most of the 'parts recyclers' on the coast side these days have a higher turn over rate with their stock and can easily scap the carcass at Sims once they're done.

South Africa is a good place for Brits to buy rust free cars since they are also right hand drive.

Right hand drive, too...

You could join with the Springboks sending coals to Newcastle!
