Just wondering if any TNFers are attending the Literature Meet next Sunday (26 June) at the Automobile Driving Museum near the airport (LAX). I did not go last year, but have decided to clear some of the growing excess and have reserved a space. There will be some items of interest to forum members among the potboilers, so stop by and say hello.

Sorry, meant to put this in the book section.

Woody, will you be inside at the Automobile Driving Museum?

I hope to get to the "Auto & Aviation History Expo 2011" and have a look, but do not have booth space. As an exhibitor last year I justified putting energy toward promoting the event as it seemed to be at a turning point, especially with the ADM being tossed the keys to the SoCal SAH's former "Lit Faire" at the last minute. I am very interested to see what it will look like this year.

Auto & Aviation History Expo 2011 at Automobile Driving Museum, 610 Lairport Street • El Segundo, CA. PDF flyer is at http://www.automobil...vingmuseum.org/ June 26 (10 am - 2 pm) Contact is Jodee at 310.909.1593 or email at jodeeh AT theADM.org

Woody:

Thanks for the notice. Had not heard of this but am now considering the 1,000-mi (each way) trip!

I'll be there again this year. Inside space I'm told. I did well last year selling some model kits I'd never get round to building as well as a couple of boxes of magazines. Since I also have a fair amount of aviation related material I hope to move some of that as well.

Cheers,
Kurt O.

Mark,

I'll be outside. I think that this location will be cool enough even if it is a sunny day. Some of the folks who went last year said there was more buyer traffic outside. I have a lot of books including a Wimpffen "Front Engines and Open Roads" that I never look at and need to free up space. I'm also bringing a bunch of unbuilt model kits that I intended to build "some day when I retire" - ain't going to happen.
