HI..After quiz 13 A .I thought that there was a lack of interest,,but upon checking I found 20 members had taken part.
Though ,,after the delay when my laptop crashed and I had to rerun the next day ,members were slow to arrive ,
and on post 34 our Tim Murray was seen to comment,,Where is everybody ??
So I.ll start quiz 14 ,, 2 hours later than usual ,(Aussie Time ) on Wednesday..After the weekend racing..

If members can suggest a more suitable time ,,let me know....(Ron )

After those in countries adjacent to the Tasman Sea [D McK, is that term PC? ;) ] have gone to bed. That gives us unfortunates in less blessed countries more time to research.

About 10 am Aussie time as the Skippies should be out of bed and having their 1st beer for the day, Kiwi's will be having lunch and most importantly that reprobate McKinney will be sound asleep tucked up in bed in the good old UK and so by this method of arranging a handicap starting grid the remainder of us might just get a chance to have a shot at the lead up to about the 1st corner

Looking at the previous results, the current standings are:

Kiwis (including D McK) 8 wins
Poms 5
Skippies 0

Methinks it's the Skippies who need a bit of help. :p

2..What was the name of the Motor Company before it was known as JAGUAR..in 1935.??

OBJECTION, M'LUD!

The name of the company was not changed to Jaguar until 1945. However, the Swallow Sidecar Company changed its name to SS Cars in 1934 - Jaguar was originally a model name, first used for the SS 100.

You're not familiar with Frans, are you Ron?

He used to post as 'Frans MSH', but latterly it's just as 'Frans'. I was joking, Ron, it's all right.
