To celebrate the 40th Birthday of the Clan Crusader the Clan owners club organised a dinner and celebration run on Saturday and Sunday 2/3rd of July.
Based around the home of the Clan, Washington, Co Durham, the event was well supported by the membership and general public. At the dinner in the Holiday Inn, Paul Haussauer, the man who founded the company, treated the 75 guests to a great speech where he told us some of his favourite Clan stories.
On the sunday there was a short run to visit the factory where the cars were built and then the cars made their way to the Galleries Centre where the Club had organised a display area.

Wish I had known- I owned OPT 440J which was one of the very earliest cars-which I converted to 998 cc Rallye Imp spec. Huge fun- but lift off oversteer was immense- solution- do not lift ! Recall the Clans racing at Croft- Johnny Blades was it ?
