Hi,

I am from the bike side of the Forum having spent all my life involved in bike sports and taking photo’s etc. Though I did really enjoy F1 more so back in the 80’s and mostly on TV, though I always purchased a copy of Autosport every week .

I remembered that I went along with a neighbour to Silverstone British GP back in 1981 for practice and took a couple of rolls of slide film which I have finally put on line on my web site. I did not really have any fancy gear or a press pass for this event. Of course, the images are not as sharp as digital ones of today and after so many years the colour balance tends to shift a bit, with colour transparencies.

Thought I might share them with this side of the forum.
