Television channel 7Mate had a documentary on this afternoon called" Great Grand Prix Racing Heroes" narrated by Sir Stirling Moss. It was an interesting and at times very funny insight into the Grand Prix carreer of James Hunt. SSM does a lot of interviews with Hunt in the program including one at Spanish GP. Take 1, the truth  . Take 2, the politically correct answer we get fed today  . Won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it as it will be on again at 1.00am AEST on Sunday 17 th July. Have a look or get the recorder set up.
The program appears to be one of a series so hopefully we will see more in weeks to come? including one on Moss himself.

 HI..Yes spotted that this morning..But missed the first half ,,watching the Fujitsu V8 Series..I presumed
that the series was old,(as it is a repeat )..but I googled Brunswick Films ,,and read that it was poduced in 2010,
and there is 12 in the series,,all commented by Sir.S.Moss,,Today was number One..James Hunt,Followed by
(But not in order ) Jackie Stewart,Niki Lauda,Ronnie Peterson,Clay Regazzoni,Emerson Fittipaldi,Mario Andretti,
Peter Revson,Alan Jones,Frank Williams,Mika Hakkinen,Enzo Ferrari.
After 11 were produced ,the final one was delayed when Sir S Moss had an accident ..
I am interested to know if the series has been seen on t.v. in other countries ,England ,New Zealand etc and if it
was Pay T.V. or Free To Air ??.Or only available on D.V.D.
On 7 Mate at 12.30..tonight (in the morning ) we have "" Racing Green ",But can,t see any details..Job for Recorder..!!

Thanks for the info Ronmac. Looking forward to the Alan Jones / Sir Frank Williams episodes.
Don't worry too much about Racing Green. Missed the start of it. It's about an electric sports racing car on some trans America endurance run. Couldn't hear too well, the audio was poor, the background music was too loud. I turned it on thinking it was about old British F1 cars, the all green Vanwall, BRM, Aston Martin, Connaught etc.

Wow! That's what you call "broad spectrum" - all the way from 1973 to 1981 (plus one later and one earlier)

 HI David..It appears that you have not seen the "Great Grand Prix Racing Heroes " series,,which
would surprise me,as I thought that U.K. was first to see it,,Unless they were trying to sell D.V.D.s first..
IN Australia it must have been shown before ,,as the T.V. guide pointed out that it was a repeat..Possibly on the
"Speed Channel " on Foxtel Pay T.V..

And David ,,I was impressed with the photo of the group of fine gentleman at the Goodwood Festival..It appears
that there are plenty of good restaurants in your neighbourhood..
