Dear all, I searched around in this Forum and other Forums and couldn't find anything related to this topic. If I remember correctly, the Footwork team had two liveries (paintings) in 1996, one more white in the early season and one more red later on.
Does anyone remember when (at which race) and why this was changed (probably sponsor, but which sponsor)?
Does anyone remember/know if any of the drivers were paying drivers?

Hi Puntataco,

as far as I know, Footwoork had the red one livery since Nurburgring, fifth race of the season. Livery change was made because of Power Horse sponzor, which had only small logo on the car. These energy drinks are at the market ´til today.

Riccardo Rosset was for sure paying driver, not sure about Verstappen - he might bring some money, but not as much as Rosset.

Rosset was a pay driver, in the traditional sense although Verstappen bought from money from Philips Stereos. The livery change came about Tom Wallkinshaw transfering Power Horse and some Parmalat sponsorship from Ligier to Arrows as well as attracting Castrol money.
