It's my understanding that Derek Bell shared a Ferrari 333SP with Gianpiero Moretti at LeMans in '97. Was there another co-driver as well? In what position did the car finish or, if they retired, what was the cause? Was it Bell's last appearance at LeMans or, if not, what are the details of any subsequent appearance? Thanks very much in advance.

Moretti shared a 333SP with Didier Theys and Max Papis in 1997. they finished 6th.
Derek Bell was one of several drivers entered that year in a Lister Storm GTL driven in the race by Lees, Needell and Fouché. Along with Alain Ferté and Julian Bailey, he did not start.
I think DB's last Le Mans was 1995 in a Harrods entered McLaren F1 GTR with Andy Wallace,and Justin Bell. They finished 3rd.

Well from Wikipedia he did not drive with Moretti in the 333P, Moretti had Didier Theys & Max Papis as his codrivers it looks like 92 was the last time he raced at Le Mans with his son Justin.

I know he drove a 333SP at Goodwood as I remember him saying at the time it was the best Ferrari he had ever driven. Not sure if he ever raced one though

According to the Racing Sports Cars site I linked to above, he raced one at Daytona in 1997.
