Tucked away at the foot of the letters page in Saturdays's Leicester Mercury was an appeal for photographs of the Special/Super Saloon "Berpop" as driven by Rearsby's Mike Berman in the seventies.

The letter was penned by the man himself so if anyone has any pics they could email to him, drop me a PM and i can give you the email address to contact Mike Berman.

I don't personally know the guy but i thought this would be the place to ask! :up:

I tried that too but the article said that Mike Berman already had some pics but wondered if anymore were out there?

It was a weird looking bit of kit for sure!

Wasn't it featured on the cover of Cars & Car Conversions once, in its day?
