I saw the thread about "upper-level" and more recent Brabham employees. Does anyone know their earlier mechanics, etc?
I am collecting information about the late Rod Dore, from N. London, who mechanic'd for Vanwall, then Connaught, then Brabham (until 1966). He had worked on the Tasman series, and indeed emigrated to NZ in 1966.
Any memories of Rod Dore (now passed away) or other names who may still be alive?

Peter,

I posted a comprehensive list of Brabham employees for the period 1966-1968 given to me by John Brearley who worked at MRD at this time.

It is in the 1960s racing cars newsletter No.15 on our Club website

I am sure it will be a help.

Ed, thanks for that link. Although "my guy" is not listed, that document will be a treasure chest for other researchers. I think Rod Dore left Brabham in early '66, and may indeed have done his work in the UK.
Cheers!
