Just in case this might be of interest, if anyone here lives within reasonable distance of Beaulieu and the National Motor Museum - and feels that they have time to spare for voluntary work - there are currently openings there for fit, willing, enthusiastic and computer-literate volunteers to reinforce their work teams involved on various projects. Just contact the Museum direct and offer your services. Projects cover virtually all disciplines I believe, from library research to artefact cataloguing and some degree of restoration/preservation work, plus lugging and/or pushing interesting kit around.
