How about this for a collection - if only... And, I don't quite know where I was the day they explained how to post images on this site smoothly, easily and competently so don't miss those images that have inexplicably shot out to the right. Using the left arrow bring them back into sight. Subsequently I have found a sub-forum which specialises in model photography. There are other cars on show in this topic under 1:18

My collection boasts a Ferrari 512M, a Porsche 917K, a McLaren M20.... and many, many others.... all in 1:43 scale.

If this is yours and 1:1, you're doing well. :)

Only 1:18 so I'm not doing that well - but one can but dream.

Lovely models Sandy, very nice indeed, and I'm being really picky, but somehow that 250 GTO just doesn't look right, too high at the rear?

There's a nice model Maserati (scale 12"=1') in the USofA - long thread about it here!

The vents behind the rear wheel arch were modelled incorrectly on the Burago model - nice collection, though

Well said, and that's exactly what it is, a 1:1 scale model which you can drive around in, but its a bit overpriced compared to Burago!! Shouldn't try keeping a bird in it either, as it might be inclined to fly off!!

Given the variations between individual 250 GTO's, could it be that the vent was different on the car they modelled and they modelled what they saw correctly??

Of the full sized versions the 250LM and the Jaguars would be nice to own.

The '64 bodyshape GTOs had a vent similar to the "Burago vent" - any '62/'63 bodyshape GTOs I've seen have the "Mason vent" - the original GTO, #3223GT, (eventually modified to "Mason vent") and the David Piper car, #4491GT, had a different style of vent but not the "Burago vent".
