Can anyone shed light on a model manufacturer called MR Models?

At least, I think that's the name. If you look at this page on the Le Mans Models website you will see one of the cars I am still trying to find for my 1966 Le Mans collection.

Zooming in I think it says that the kit was made by MR Models but I am having no joy in searching for them.

Thank you, gentlemen.

Interestingly, MR Models seem to make no claim to have ever made the A.S.A Le Mans car from 1966 but it is their logo that can be seen here. Or at least, I think it is.

I have contacted Tenariv, who made the Serenissima model but their reply was not overly optimistic. "No chance!"

"No chance!"

I believe Mr. Viranet (Tenariv) closed his company down & works for now for Spark, especially on their 60's models.

You were right 1st.of all Barry,I looked at my old 4 small wheels magazines for 1999 and MR did make this as a kit and handbuilt model. They also made the NART white car and roadcar version too. I have an MR glossy catalogue, but it's not in there.

Edward, thanks for the suggestions but these are not kit sellers.

These models have only ever been made as kits.

As Chris says, the car was made by MR Collection as kit and hand built but it was actually relelased under the ASA name for some reason (even though all packaging, instructions etc were pure MRC). From memory, it was a very short run and only around for a short time. Tron curently have a simple kit of the Targa Florio ASA 411 in their range but not the 613 Le Mans car.
