According to Steve Small's Grand Prix who's who, the 1971 German GP is the only WDC race where he carried no 2.
I don't know about the 7 non-championship races as Small doesn't cover them. There is a website that does, but I can't remember which one it is.

Not in any non-Champ races in 1971.

Strange that Tyrrell never ran in any non-Champ races in 1972.

Stewart was entered for the International Trophy, but according to Pete Lyons in Autosport Tyrrell were too busy testing at Jarama to spare a weekend for the British folk.

Wasn't Stewart a bit under the weather in 1972?

Yes, 1972 was the year he had the stomach ulcer, but I don't think it really started affecting him until Monaco, so shouldn't have compromised his participation in the early-season non-championship races.

Cevert ran a full Can Am season, but was Stewart also planning to before he became unwell? I can't remember.
