Corz was around in the very early days of factory bikes, he did ride for Marlboro Yam in the early years but was very much the junior member and shoudl have won races were he not so unlucky!

But he did win the 8h and Daytona if mym memory sevres me? And also laid the foundations for many to come over to the UK and ride, Gardner, etc all floowed his example!

And also, a tope bloke, book is awesome!!!

My best memory of Croz is Transatlantic 84, one of my first ever meetings, he came out of retirement to ride an old Suzuki 4 cylinder, spent the whole meeting just wheelying everywhere, the nane Crosby has been synonymous with awesome with me ever since

No offense intended toward Jason, good on him.
There's a big bloke called Darren Lark that rides in Victoria who's about the same size, rides a CB900 and a 250 Yamaha as well, and goes ok. Sheer physics would suggest they won't win, but nothing to stop them getting stuck in. Truth be known, at 6'2" and 105kg, I'd be way too big to be pedalling a 350 as well, but that hasn't stopped me caning the butt off the old girl since 1986...

 Thanks Phil, I don't remember seeing him, he dwarfs Stu who isn't exactly a small guy but as Glenn said, fair play to him for having a go.

A regular competitor over the last few seasons , Mick , although he didn't come out to play last term , having just got hitched , IIRC , and I believe his brother has been having a few outings

It is a 700 Yamaha Philippe, above the two lower pipes you can see the bulge of another pipe, looks like three on the right side?

I thought this could be the case Graham, the fairing does fit to this theory, but the the gas tank looks so much un-750 TZ ?

Could be a special frame of course, but the visible part ( rear) looks fairly standard..

Oh well....

Could be a Nico Bakker, can't see much of the frame but the swinging arm looks the part.

This is off thread because it's a rubbish pic, but can anyone help with an ID of this Yam I saw at the 1983 British GP? I looked it up in the program and there's no listing for a no. 64.

Many thanks.

Some really nice pics in here.

Any chance of getting hold of some of Andy Watts? He is my cousin, not seen him in years and his career was ended by his crash when I was still a kid.
I had been hunting about for pics for a while, it would be nice to see if I can get one in a frame at some point.

My own bike is built around the Bowden carb from his fathers BSA A10 which he had tried tuning back in the 1950s. Bikes really ran in the family, but Andy was the only one of us with any talent. :D
