Hello - just a quick post to let fellow TNF'ers know I am alive and well and still up to my armpits in my project to recreate the XJ13 - a "snapshot" of how it was in 1966 before those rather "delightful" 1970's flared wheelarches and alloys were added.
Why do these things have to take so long?? Although I am not working to any particular schedule and my main aim is to end up with as accurate a recreation as is humanly possible - I am not in this for any idea of monetary gain (just as well as these projects can be damn expensive ... ) Despite this, the time it is taking is far greater than I had expected with all my initial naivety.
A few days ago we started bending metal - I thought we would be doing this 6 months ago ....
